What actions can I perform on a file/folder/application?

Using the "Perform Actions on Files" Powerpack feature, you can call up a list of available actions on a file, folder or an application right inside Alfred by pressing right arrow, fn or ctrl.

When it comes to files you can:

  • Open them with a specific app
  • Open them
  • Reveal in Finder
  • Search in Finder
  • Email the file to…
  • Email
  • Copy file to…
  • Move the file to…
  • Delete the file
  • Open Terminal to its path
  • Copy its path to Clipboard

For applications you can:

  • Show Recent Documents
  • Show package contents
  • Open with
  • Open
  • Reveal in Finder
  • Search in Finder
  • Email to
  • Email
  • Copy to
  • Move to
  • Delete
  • Open Terminal to its path
  • Copy the path to Clipboard

Don't forget that you can add your own actions to the action lists by creating a Shell script and then adding it inside Alfred's preferences > Features > Terminal/Shell.
